Emeraude Toubia

Emeraude Toubia is an Canadian actress best known for her work on the Freeform the fantasy show Shadowhunters and the Venevision telenovelas Cosita linda as well as Voltea pa' que you are awestruck. Emeraude Toubia is also an accomplished model and dancer. As a Montreal born native, she grew up in Texas and was always fascinated by dance and performing. She has been trained since her early in diverse forms. In her 15th year she began taking part in beauty contests. In 1999, she made her first on-screen appearance in Televisa's children's program El Mundo de los Ninos. Toubia gained fame when she participated in Nuestra Belleza Latina, the Univision pageant show. In 2010, she made her acting d but as a receptionist on an episode of Telemundo's telenovela Aurora. In 2015, she was in her first movie, the action-drama Tattooed Love. Toubia's performance as Shadowhunter was praised by the Teen Choice Awards in both the years 2017 and 2018, for her performance as best TV actress. Fantasy/Sci-Fi.
